BARN BUDDIES! The "Barn Buddies" Spring work party
on Sunday April 25th was a huge success!
Exceptional events are created by exceptional folks!
For anyone not on Island for our old fashioned Island do-it-yourself work party, I am thrilled to announce that we have a beautiful full smooth and complete barn floor, thanks to the efforts of all our volunteers. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
We also need to thank Jean McClintock and her Red Hat Mamas for donating the plywood, Chris Fokine and his family for donating a full day's grueling labor and professional guidance, Phyllis Wallace for shopping for all the BBQ lunch, all the folks who made food to feed the ravenous flooring folks, Beverlea for patiently managing the topsy-turvy movement of the entire farm implement collection & educational displays, and Belle for her committment and strength to endure the stress of putting this whole effort together. Wow is right!
A job well done!
